Youth Ministry

Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF) is an opportunity for the youth of St. Trinity to serve their Lord, share in the fellowship of believers, develop servant hearts and attitudes, study the Word, bring the message of God’s saving grace to people in our community and have fun!! LYF is FFF (Faith, Fellowship, Fun).

Our mission is very simple one. Serve others because Christ set that example for us.  LYF youth eagerly take every opportunity to serve within our congregation and in the community.

Our Youth Ministry is committed to creating a “place” in the lives of our young people (grades 6 – 12) where they can find a safe, secure, and nurturing environment to experience the love of Christ. We know this can be a challenging time in the lives of our youth, so we create opportunities based on fun, fostering friendships, expressing oneself, and allowing our youth to grow in faith and service. We believe that we grow in our faith and develop deeper friendships with others by working together to serve our community.

Ways in which our Youth serve:

  • Easter Breakfast
  • Thanksgiving, Advent, and Lenten Dinners
  • Lighthouse
  • Grace Centers of Hope
  • Visit local nursing homes to help decorate Christmas trees and sing carols

2nd Sunday - Each month on the Second Sunday the Youth meet for a special time of fellowship, fun, and service.

Mission Statement: To involve the youth of St. Trinity in the full life of God’s church with focus on sharing the Gospel Message, Fellowship with one another, & encouraging a servant heart.

"For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
